Nanaimo is home to the best of British Columbia's world famous wrecks! Explore the former HMCS Saskatchewan, B.C.'s most popular wreck.  Saskatchewan is  teeming with life as marine life has begun to colonize it's many nooks and crannies. In only a few more years Saskatchewan will be completely covered! Come back every year to document the ever-increasing growth of life on this historic ship.

HMCS Saskatchewan: On June 14, 1997, Snake Island became the home for the former HMCS Saskatchewan. The location of this 366 foot ex-Canadian Navy destroyer escort on the east side of Snake Island makes this an excellent two-dive destination when combined with Snake Island Wall or the former HMCS Cape Breton.

The former HMCS Cape Breton: a 400 foot World War II Victory class ship, was sunk in Nanaimo on October 20, 2001.  Cape Breton is the Worlds Second Largest Diver-Prepared Artificial Reef! She sank in 3 minutes and 37 seconds and sits upright with a bottom depth of 142 feet and a top of 35 feet.

The newest addition to Nanaimo's underwater fleet is the 157 foot North Sea Rescue Tug the Rivtow Lion. Sunk February 6, 2005 this ship is a perfect dive, conveniently located in Departure Bay only minutes from the dock.

Advance Registration and payment is required in order to reserve space on the trip.

Charter fee includes two days of diving and one night hotel.

Fee does not include transportation to Nanaimo, meals or equipment rental.  Divers are required to supply or rent all equipment including tanks & weights.  Standard air fills are supplied, Nitrox fills are available at an additional charge.
