Dreaming of a Tropical Vacation? Through our Tropical Resort Certification Program you don't have to spend your valuable vacation time sitting in a classroom. Begin your dive training with our Home Study program, in your free time, in your own home. You will then be ready to complete the water training with one of our affiliates in Hawaii, or you can go to any PADI Resort in the world to finish the program. With thousands of PADI Resorts to choose from worldwide, you can pick the destination of your dreams at which to go diving. Getting started in diving has never been this easy, and now with our giant selection of resort facilities at which you can complete the diving, it has never been this fun. The Tropical Certification, Open Water Diver Course begins with an interesting, interactive CD ROM based, home study program. By completing the course work in the comfort of your own home, on your own time schedule, there is no need to spend hours of your valuable time in a classroom. During your home studies you will have unlimited email access to our instructors. Once you have completed the academic preperations, you will be supplied with the PADI Certificate of Referral Training that is recognized worldwide. You can take that Certificate to any PADI Resort or Training Facility in the world to complete your course. Prices for the water training will vary from resort to resort around the world. Our instructional staff are all professionally trained and certified diving instructors. Every one of our instructors has been through weeks of intensive instructor training. Along with being some of the best divers in the world, our staff have also had extensive training in educational theory and philosophy, curriculum development and learning theories, water safety, diving safety and environmental education. In an effort to be prepared for any eventuality, all of our instructors have been trained in water rescues, CPR and First Aid. The majority of them in fact, have completed training and hold certifications as CPR/First Aid instructors. Dedicated to making diving safe and fun, our staff works hard to make our programs memorable experiences. Their professionalism, level of knowledge, experience and caring attitude will give you an experience you will remember throughout your life. The knowledge and experiences gained will give you the ability to safely enjoy the aquatic environment anywhere in the world. Dive Requirements: You will begin with practice in a swimming pool or at a calm, confined water site. You will then progress to an actual dive site used for recreational diving. You can complete your water training at any of thousands of PADI resorts worldwide. You will also be eligible to complete your training through any of our Scuba Schools training programs in Seattle, San Francisco Bay area, Maui and Key Largo, Florida, or with one of our affiliated training centers in Oahu or Kona. Tropical Referral Certification Course Complete all Knowledge Development and pool training sections of the program prior to your vacation. You can begin the Knowledge Development studies at home, and participate in the pool training portion of the course at our diver training facilities in Seattle/Tacoma or San Francisco Bay Area. You can then finish the open water training and gain certification at any of thousands of PADI training facilities worldwide. Fees for the open water training will vary and will be levied by the resort at which you choose to complete the training.
If you would like to finish your water training at one of our affiliated training centers in Key Largo, Florida, Oahu, Maui or Kona Hawaii, we will make all arrangements for your training and the tuition fees listed in the Full Certification Course section below will apply.
Complete all training and gain the PADI Openwater Diver Certification at our facilities. You can begin the Knowledge Development studies at home, and complete the pool and ocean training portions of the program at any of our facilities. At our facilities in Seattle / Tacoma, San Francisco Bay Area, Maui and Key Largo, Florida, you can complete all pool and ocean training. If completing the ocean training at one of our Hawaii associates on Kauai, Oahu or Kona, you will need to complete the Knowledge Development and pool portions of the program at one of our Seattle/Tacoma or San Francisco Bay Area facilities prior to your trip to Hawaii. use of all diving gear, including mask, snorkel and fins, is included in the cost of the program. You will not be required to purchase equipment.
