The Advanced Open Water Diver Course is an experience oriented program designed to give you practical experience in a number of specialty diving areas. Unlike the Open Water Course, the Advanced Open Water program involves little written testing. You will begin by reading the requisite academic materials at home on your own time. The material will then be reviewed with your instructor during your water training sessions. The objective of the programs is to give you as much in water time as possible in which to perfect your diving skills. This class includes 5 dives.
Dive Requirements: 1. Deep 2. Underwater Navigation 3. Peak Performance Buoyancy 4. Fish ID 5. Night Dive Equipment Requirements: Divers must supply their own dive light and tank light for the night and deep dives. Prerequisites: Open Water Certification and cold water diving experience. Don't have cold water diving experience? Check out our Cold Water Orientations! Military, Law Enforcement and Fire Protection personnel receive 15% discount off the tuition portion of the program.
