​The only additional fee will be the PADI Instructor Examination Fee which is payable directly to PADI when you attend the IE upon completion of the IDC

Most facilities list only course tuition fees when advertising their instructor programs.  You are not told about the elearning and application fees that will be added on later.  Our pricing includes everything.

The OWSI program is the last step in your training to becoming one of the most well respected dive training professionals in the world. In the OWSI program you will complete the adventure of becoming PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.  Teaching scuba diving allows you to travel the world while you share your passion for the underwater world.  Not everyone is cut out to assume the responsibility of becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.  Are you?

Register Early:
All of our programs require prestudy of the Online IDC and Dive Theory programs.  In order to give yourself time to complete the prestudies, it is necessary that you register for the program and receive your study materials at least two weeks prior to the start date of the program.  It is highly recommended that you register earlier than that once you have made the decision to join our program.

In the OWSI program you will go beyond what you learned in the AI Course and gain more extensive knowledge in instructional theory and training techniques to be able teach your students with confidence. Some of the topics will be:

  • Risk Management
  • Dive Professionalism
  • Open Water Diver Course Standards
  • Advanced Open Water Diver Course Standards
  • Rescue Diver Course Standards
  • Divemaster Course Standards

Time Commitment:
  • Minimum 5 evenings classroom and pool
  • Minimum 2 full days classroom and open water training
Prerequisite:
  • Complete PADI Dive Theory online portion of the IDC E-Learning Crewpak.
  • Meet all IDC and AI course prerequisites
  • PADI Assistant Instructor or Instructor in good standing with another recognized recreational diver training organization for at least 6 months.
