Seattle Scuba/Tulum Diving Certification Course

You don't have to do your certification dives in the cold waters of Puget Sound, and you don't have to spend your vacation time studying. Get the best of both worlds. Do your dive studies with our elearning program in the comfort of your own home.
Upon completion of the Home Studies you can join us in our heated, indoor pool at Seattle Scuba for an introduction to the equipment. Pool sessions are held Wednesday or Thursday evenings most weeks. Alternately, you can join the pool/confined water training with us in Tulum. You will then be ready to complete the ocean training with Seattle Scuba trained Instructors at our sister facility, Tulum Diving Center, in Tulum, Mexico. Our Instructors are all American trained and teach by American safety standards. We understand that your safety comes first. You will often find one, or both of our Seattle Scuba Course Directors/Master Instructors, Cathy Sytsma & Craig Gillespie, in Tulum completing the dives for you. In Tulum you will participate in at least two days of diving. One day will be in the fresh water springs (cenotes) that the Yucatan is famous for, and the second day will be on the beautiful reefs of the Caribbean Mayan Riviera. You will get the chance to practice your skills as well as see some of the best diving in the world. There are occasionally times when weather does not permit diving in the ocean off the coast of Tulum. In those rare instances your certification can be completed in the cenotes. Just let us know when you will be there. We will arrange for you to complete your training and become a certified PADI Diver in the beautiful Mayan Riviera. Tuition: $575 / diver
Elearning Program: $175 ($190 if purchased directly from PADI save $15) 2 or more people registering together will receive 10% discount off the tuition fees. Prices include tax on materials Course Total: 1 person: $767.67 2 people: $1420.34 3 people: $2130.51 4 people: $2840.68 Prices include all fees and equipment usage in both Seattle and Tulum. Prices do not include your personal airfare or accommodation in Tulum. Please contact us if you are interested in finishing in Tulum, Mexico. We can assist you in organizing dates for your training. We can also assist you in arranging airport transfers if you are not renting a car in Mexico.
