Assistant Instructor Course in Tulum, Mexico

In collaboration with Seattle Scuba partner facility, Tulum Diving Center in Tulum, Mexico, anyone registering for an IDC through Seattle Scuba can begin the program by completing the Assistant Instructor program at Tulum Diving Center at no additional charge.
Take a vacation and get started on the IDC on the Caribbean Coast of Mexico. Along with the AI Course you will get the opportunity to do one day of Cavern Diving in the Cenotes that Tulum is famous for, and one day of diving in the tropical waters of the Caribbean Sea. All at no extra charge.
All you need to do is sign up for the IDC at Seattle Scuba, and let us know you want to do the Assistant Instructor Course with us in Mexico. We will work with you on a schedule to have one of our PADI Course Directors in Tulum to work with you.
Then book yourself a vacation to the Caribbean.
The program in Tulum will require 6 days. Stay longer and book yourself some more diving adventures while you are there.
All AI programs require pre-study of the Online materials. In order to give yourself time to complete the pre-studies, it is necessary that you register for the program and receive your study materials at least two weeks prior to the start date of the program. It is highly recommended that you register earlier than that once you have made the decision to join our program.

Prerequisite:
- Dive Leader certification — PADI Divemaster or leadership-level certification with a recognized recreational diver training organization
- Experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation.
- 60 logged dives
- 18 years old
- Medical clearance attesting to dive fitness signed by a physician within the
previous 12 months. - Certified diver for six months.
- EFR Primary and Secondary Care course completion within the last 24 months.
- If not a PADI Divemaster, complete the PADI Divemaster course diver rescue skills assessment.
- Submit documentation of qualifying certifications for entry level, advanced, rescue and leadership level, as necessary
