Tropical Referral Certification Course

Through our Tropical Resort Certification Program you don't have to spend your valuable vacation time sitting in a classroom. Begin your dive training with our eLearning, Home Study program, in your free time, in your own home.
Upon completion of the eLearning program you will join us in the pool/confined water for an introduction to the equipment. You will then be ready to complete the ocean training. The ocean training requires four dives and is usually conducted over two days. You have one year to complete the training and can join us at our 5 Star Dive Center in Tulum, Mexico, or choose any other PADI Resort in the world to finish the program. With thousands of Resorts to choose from worldwide, you can pick the destination of your dreams at which to go diving. You can find a complete listing of PADI Dive Centers at www.PADI.com Fees for the ocean training dives will vary widely and will be levied by the resort at which you choose to do the training. You will be responsible for making arrangements for your training dives and for all fees incurred in said training. Swimming ability? If you cannot swim, please do not register for this program. You must be able to swim to participate in this SCUBA Course. At the pool training you will be asked to swim 200 yards without stopping and you must be able to tread water, or float for 10 minutes without stopping or holding onto the side of the pool or another diver. If you cannot complete these requirements you will not be able to move on to the next portion of the training. Once you have practiced your swimming you will be required to re-do the pool training and there will be a reschedule charge of $195. Please do not waste your time and money on this program if you cannot complete the swim evaluation noted above. Our friends at Safe and Sound Swimming can assist you in polishing up your swimming ability prior to the SCUBA course. If you are unsure of your ability, contact Safe and Sound and make an appointment to go in for a swim assessment. Once you are sure you can pass the swim evaluation we welcome you to join us. Getting started in diving has never been this easy, and now with our giant selection of PADI resort facilities at which you can complete the diving, it has never been this fun. This program has a minimum age of 13 years old. For younger kids please see information on our Youth Programs. Come and join us at Tulum Diving Center, our PADI 5 Star Dive Center in Tulum, Mexico. We can finish your referral training, or do everything with you on your vacation.

Tuition: $295/diver Materials: Elearning Program: $175 ($190 if purchased directly from PADI save $15) 2 or more divers receive 10% discount off the tuition portion of the program.
